Spatial Art Elements
Overview
This project explores how a minimal geometric logo can evolve into a complete visual system integrated into the physical environment of a sports space. The goal was not simply to apply a logo to surfaces, but to transform it into architectural textures, functional objects, and subtle graphic layers that strengthen brand recognition without visual noise.
The circular structure of the CORE DISTRICT symbol naturally lends itself to modular repetition. By decomposing the logo into structural elements, a seamless pattern was created that works across multiple materials — textiles, ceramics, print, and interior surfaces. These elements function as quiet brand carriers: they enrich the space visually while maintaining a restrained, premium aesthetic suitable for a modern athletic environment.
Modular Structure
Full-frame pattern study showing the modular structure derived from the logo. This serves as the base visual system for multiple materials and surfaces across the brand environment.
Architectural Art
Ceramic wall tiles embossed with the geometric pattern derived from the logo. The surface functions as an architectural art element inside the gym interior.
Graphic Artwork
Printed card using the CORE DISTRICT pattern as a graphic artwork. The pattern becomes the main visual element while the brand name appears discreetly in the corner, emphasizing restraint and balance.
Woven Fabric
Gym towel with the pattern woven directly into the fabric. The branding becomes part of everyday training equipment rather than a separate graphic label.
